Vinca Voyages is a 31-metre luxury phinisi vessel built in 2020 in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi, and launched in March 2021. Designed with a blend of traditional Indonesian craftsmanship and modern comforts, the vessel offers an unforgettable cruising experience in Komodo National Park.
With six air-conditioned cabins featuring private bathrooms, Vinca Voyages can accommodate up to 18 guests. These cabins consist of a Western Room, Japanese Room, and Balinese Room, each designed with signature touches and amenities such as a private balcony, bathtub, as well as stunning ocean views.
Onboard facilities include an indoor lounge area with cosy sofas, a bar, karaoke, and an air conditioning system with HEPA filters. Outside, there is an open-air deck with beanbags, an outdoor dining area, and a sundeck for panoramic sea views. For activities, snorkelling equipment, stand-up paddleboards and speedboats are available to explore the underwater beauty and secluded beaches.

Vinca Voyages offers various travel packages, including a 3-day 2-night open trip departing every Friday from Labuan Bajo. Destinations visited include Kelor Island, Manjarite, Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar, Manta Point, and Kanawa Island. During the trip, guests can enjoy snorkelling, trekking, watching the sunset, and interacting with local wildlife, including Komodo dragons.

The adventure begins with a pick-up from the hotel or airport in Labuan Bajo at around 09.30 WITA. After introductions to the crew and a safety briefing, the boat sails to Kelor Island for a short trek to enjoy the panoramic view of the hills and blue sea. Next, snorkelling in the clear waters of Manjarite, which is rich in coral reefs and tropical fish. Towards dusk, the ship anchors near Kalong Island, where thousands of bats fly out of the mangroves at sunset, creating a mesmerising sight. The evening is spent having dinner on board while enjoying the starry night sky.
The morning begins with a trek to the top of Padar Island, where you will be treated to a panoramic view of three bays with different sand colours. After breakfast, the journey continues to Pink Beach, a rare pink sandy beach ideal for snorkelling and relaxing. Later, you’ll visit Komodo Island to see Komodo dragons, the ancient reptiles that are the icon of the national park. After lunch, the ship sails to Taka Makassar, a white sand atoll surrounded by turquoise shallows, and then to Manta Point for a chance to swim with the graceful manta rays.
On the third day, you will explore Sebayur Island, an island with white sandy beaches and clear waters perfect for snorkelling. Next, snorkel at Siaba Island, a place known as “Turtle City” for its abundant turtle population. The journey continues to Sabolo Island, where you can relax on the white sandy beach or snorkel in the clear waters.
The final day begins with a visit to Rangko Cave, a cave with clear saltwater pools and sunlight coming through the cracks, creating a breathtaking view. After enjoying a quiet morning, the boat will sail back to Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival at the harbour, you will be transferred back to your hotel or the airport, marking the end of this incredible adventure.
