Overview

Hari Esok Phinisi is a traditional wooden phinisi boat operating sailing trips around Komodo/thumb (Komodo National Park) with departures from Labuan Bajo. The vessel is commonly used for both open trips and private charters, with popular durations ranging from 2 days 1 night to 3 days 2 nights. During the journey, guests explore iconic destinations such as Kelor Island, Komodo Island, Pink Beach, and Taka Makassar, while enjoying activities like snorkeling, island trekking, sunset viewing, and relaxing cruises through the scenic waters of Flores.

As a traditional phinisi adapted for tourism, Hari Esok offers an onboard stay experience with guest cabins, a dining area, and a comfortable lounging space. Trip packages typically include accommodation on the boat, full-board meals during the sailing, boat crew servicesThumb, a local guide, and basic snorkeling equipment (depending on the operator). While detailed technical specifications such as exact dimensions, engine type, or fuel and water capacity are not publicly disclosed, Hari Esok remains a great option for travelers seeking a relaxed and intimate sailing experience to explore the natural beauty of Komodo.

Itineraries

3 Day – Komodo National Park

Your trip begins with hotel or airport pick-up in Labuan Bajo and transfer to the harbor to board Aliikai Phinisi Boat. After a welcome drink and safety briefing, sail to Kelor Island for a short hill trek and snorkeling session in crystal-clear waters. Continue to Manjarite for another snorkeling stop, known for its calm reef and colorful tropical fish.

In the late afternoon, cruise toward Kalong Island, where you’ll witness thousands of flying foxes (fruit bats) soaring into the sunset — a spectacular natural show inside Komodo National Park. Enjoy dinner on board and overnight stay in a peaceful bay.

Wake up early for a sunrise trek at Padar Island, famous for its iconic panoramic viewpoint overlooking three crescent-shaped bays. After breakfast onboard, head to Pink Beach for swimming and snorkeling in its uniquely tinted shoreline.

Next, visit Komodo Island (or Rinca Island depending on park regulation) for a guided walk to see the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. After lunch onboard, sail back to Labuan Bajo with estimated arrival in the late afternoon. Transfer to your hotel or airport concludes your 2D1N sailing adventure.
